Case 03Peekaboo Piercing · Tampa, FL
← Index

A piercing studio that books itself.

Two working moms running a medical ear-piercing studio across multiple service areas. The scheduling alone was a part-time job. I built the website, implemented HubSpot as their operating system, and built the calendar infrastructure end-to-end — shipping scheduling on the tools that fit the size of the business at each stage: HubSpot meetings to start, then Calendly as the team grew, then a custom-developed booking system that routes every request across ~40 ZIP codes to the right provider once off-the-shelf tools couldn't keep up. Year one: 164 paying appointments, no manual scheduling. Year two: four piercers and a dedicated on-site studio.

02ZIP-routed scheduling

The live booking flow.

The studio serves roughly 40 ZIP codes across multiple provider zones. The scheduler reads the request, matches it to a service area, and books straight onto the correct provider's calendar. No triage, no back-and-forth.

The booker below is the real production system at book.peekaboopiercing.com. Pick a service, plug in a Tampa ZIP code, and watch it route.

03Bookings in HubSpot

164 paid bookings, all through one account.

Year one: 164 paid bookings funneled through a single HubSpot meetings account. Self-serve, self-confirming, and off the owners' plates so they could focus on the piercings instead of triaging the inbox.

Twelve months, no launch spike, no quiet stretch.

Bookings ramped through Q1 and held around fourteen a month from Q2 forward. No promo cycles, no paid traffic. The site does the selling, the scheduler handles the rest.

05In their words
Elizabeth led development of our site in HubSpot and consolidated multiple platforms into a single cohesive system. She built scheduling that routes appointments by ZIP code to the correct provider and service area. That routing logic was critical to our operations, and she executed it cleanly and reliably.

06What I built
Website + platform
  • Website designed and built from the ground up in HubSpot
  • HubSpot implemented as the operating system for the business
  • Multiple disconnected tools consolidated into one system
  • Service pages tuned for local intent
  • Documentation and training so the team can run it
Scheduling
  • Started on HubSpot meetings, moved to Calendly as the team grew
  • Custom-developed booking system once off-the-shelf tools couldn't handle the routing
  • ZIP-based routing to the correct provider and service area
  • Self-serve booking reliable enough that the owners stopped triaging requests
Outcome
  • 164 paying appointments in year one
  • ~14 a month, steady from Q2 forward
  • 100% self-serve scheduling
  • Year two: grew to four piercers and a dedicated on-site studio

Build the numbers next.

A short call to understand the gaps, the systems behind them, and whether the work belongs in my hands.

If it's a fit, we move into a paid working session from there.
